Problem Statement: Urban commuters within major metropolitan areas who struggle with unpredictable and congested ground transport options during peak travel hours and high-density events in 2035, especially in metropolitan regions with limited alternative time-value modes of transport resulting in lost productivity, increased stress, and reduced access to time sensitive events and services.

Safety = Trust

Safety leads to trust and to market adoption. At Supernal we designed to the highest levels of system safety through numerous pilot system integration studies and passenger usability evaluations.

Concept Simplified Vehicle Operation (SVO) HMI and Flight Deck Philosophy.

Optimized cabin for passenger comfort and experience.

Comfort = Experience

Passenger experience is paramount to market adoption and future demand. I led multiple rapid cabin prototype builds and formative / summative passenger behavior evaluations to design best in class passenger experience in the eVTOL OEM market. Led the creation and delivery of the Supernal Design Language System, ensuring consistent, scalable HMI, usability, and ergonomics standards for the vehicle platform.

I directed 23 UX / HF research, benchmarking, and validation studies, including VOC (interviews and behavioral observation), task analysis, and usability testing. Collected objective data (eye tracking, pressure mapping) and cognitive workload data (SUS, NASA-TLX) to evaluate pilot/operator performance, visibility, workload, ingress/egress, and comfort. Improved system usability scores by 30% from baseline.
