As part of the AeroVue Touch IFD, the Honeywell Bendix King AeroCruze Touch is the world’s first touch enabled autopilot. Designed for safety, simplicity, and ease of use, the autopilot was extensively tested with external pilots to validate the overall HMI design and was found to improve pilot situational awareness and reduce cognitive workload through novel patented UI system feedback features. The AeroCruze Touch is also sold as an autopilot upgrade. Product released 2019. Winner, 2019 Honeywell International Technical Achievement Award.
